Always necessary to have backup plan
Life it too short to worry
Learn to roll with the punches
Sound advice... why don't I listen?
so tell me.... anything wrong lately?
Want to play along? All that's necessary to participate is to describe your life (or something) in a phrase using just six words. For more information, go to Show My Face. and Cate explains it all....feel free to explain or not explain. Add an image, a video, a song, nothing.

You don't listen for the same reason I don't... it is easier said then done....
ReplyDeleteHmmm! I had the recent holiday in Porto all planned out, Brenda, but it didn't really work that way. Might have been better for it, though. Who knows? It was wonderful anyway.
ReplyDeleteMa always said things happen for a reason. So much wiser than me.
I was not born with a planning gene. Maybe I'm better off, less likely to be disappointed, etc .
ReplyDeleteWe were all packed for a little getaway and then our youngest daughter called us with a big problem...so we had to cancel our plans. That's ok though...we were happy to help! Maybe another getaway opportunity will arise soon.
ReplyDeleteHope you will have a Happy Saturday even though the plans fell through!
Linda
Rolling with the punches isn't always so easy, punches knock the wind out of you! We are stronger than we think though, and we eventually pop back up to look life square in the face. It seems that things rarely turn out the way we anticipate, but I can testify that sometimes in the end they turn out far better than we might have planned!
ReplyDeleteDon't worry and roll with the punches ... two things I am NOT good at and usually don't try to be. haha
ReplyDeleteListening is a good thing, it's a way to discover or learn something we may not have known, or discover something new. Here's a word that actually has escaped me, although I know it's meaning and have lots of them! photobomb! Enjoy your weekend Brenda!
ReplyDeleteI hope everything is okay with you?
ReplyDeleteJohn Lennon said life is what happens while we're busy making plans. We always had a five year plan, then life got in the way. Rolling with the punches definitely helps :)
Hi Brenda ~~ Nice thoughts. I generally don't have much of a Plan "A" but usually have a "B". Happy 6WS!!!
ReplyDeleteoooh back up plans - nope sorry - none! just going with 'plan A' ...! hope things smooth out soon for you - have a lovely weekend
ReplyDeleteBack-up plans. What a novel idea, lol. Yes, good advice - I should listen.
ReplyDeleteWhat is that saying: god is laughing while we are making plans?!
ReplyDeleteSeems you have lots on your plate right now, sending you some cyber red roses. xx

ReplyDeleteI have daily plans but no life plans and don't even consider having backup plans. I am not much of a worrier and I do pretty much roll with the punches--after losing my temper for a bit. It's the life of a ditz!
