Blog of the Year Award - 1 Star

 I have been given this awesome award by Alyson Sheldrake of The Thought Palette

Before I explain this award I would like to say a few words about Alyson.... 
First ... she is an awesome artist and you've never seen her work before you really need to go check out her blog and her facebook page.
Second... I feel like I do not leave enough comments on her page but I visit it regularly!
Third... This blog award has made me realize how much my life has changed and improved by becoming a member of this blogging community.

Yes – that’s right – there are stars to collect! Unlike other awards which you can only add to your blog once – this award is different! When you begin you will receive the ‘1 star’ award – and every time you are given the award by another blog – you can add another star! There are a total of 6 stars to collect. Which means that you can check out your favourite blogs – and even if they have already been given the award by someone else – you can still bestow it on them again and help them to reach the maximum 6 stars!

Les at Time out for Mom - not only is her blog creative, funny and entertaining - she is an awesome person. I actually had a dream last night that I met her in person.... who knows someday that dream might come true! Our lives are so similar I am sure we are sisters!

Hilary at Feeling Beachie - This woman is the most compulsive, OCD person I know...other than my daughter! (lol) - - We have actually spoken on the phone many times and I feel like we've known each other all our lives..... another virtual sister! 

Janice at Rockin my Journey - You know how there are some people you are just destined to be friends with??? Janice is one of them....she and I have such similar stories (except for the happy ending part!) and I just feel like we are kindred spirits

Beth Ann at It's Just Life - this woman is a woman after my own heart... she is creative, crafty and a very giving spirit! I don't leave far enough comments on her site .... (New year's resolution anyone?) 

Tami at Empty Nest in Il - Tami and I started running into each other a LONG time ago and the more we wrote the more we realized we could actually have lived each others' life. So parallel are our worlds that we both are about to have our second grandchild... and we had our first within 3 months of each other.

And last... but certainly not least!!! I would like to bestow this award right back at Alyson (want to see if she get those six stars!) - as previously stated.... she is an awesome artist....


NOW... one last thing.... please do not be upset if I did not give you this award.... I know how hard it is to reciprocate and award these things. 
Also.... I apologize for not getting around and commenting as much as I used to..... life has been a bit upside down for a while now....
