After traveling last weekend.....week dragged
Never seemed to get groove back
Looking forward to rest and relaxation
Unfortunately it will a working weekend
At least I am not flying
Want to play along? All that's necessary to participate is to describe your life (or something) in a phrase using just six words. For more information, go to Show My Face. and Cate explains it all....feel free to explain or not explain. Add an image, a video, a song, nothing.

You did such a lot of traveling in such a short time; I'm sure it is going to take awhile to get back to feeling normal! I agree with you; anytime one is not on a plane is a good thing indeed! I hope you get a bit of a rest this weekend!

Thanks Betty...
DeleteAlways throws my schedule off when I have to travel too!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if it is harder becomes I'm 'old'?
DeleteSounds like a busy time for you. Hope the travel was at least for pleasure. :) Here's to a slower, more relaxing week ahead.
ReplyDeletewell the outcome was pleasurable :)
DeleteThere's always a low after a high. Give yourself time.
ReplyDeleteand in this case it is literal! lol
DeleteI took Thursday and Friday off...and I'm taking Monday, too!!! First breaks since we went cruising in Feb. Now, My Beloved Sandra's visiting family in Maine till next week. SOLITUDE!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAH... that explains the poem on the site today!
DeleteNow I expect you to spend that solitude...writing...writing...writing
Not flying is a big bonus. That indeed was a whirlwind trip you had.
ReplyDeletebut so worth it!
DeleteBrenda, you got to slow down and 'smell the roses.'
ReplyDeleteThe 59th Street Bridge Song (feelin' Groovy) :
Slow down you move too fast
You got to make the morning last
Just kicking' down the cobblestones
Looking' for fun and feeling' groovy
If you didn't fly, then how did you travel? Driving is exhausting too. And we don't have any good rails in the U.S. unless you live in one of the 'corridors.'
I heard on the blog grapevine that you missed the openning ceremonies. I have a few snapshots of what I considered the best on my blog. We got in too late last night to see Mr. Bean or he'd have been there also.

..
Thanks Jim.... great pics!
DeleteAt least I'm not flying rings true. I used to love to fly- it gave me time to catch up on my reading. Now it's always such a nightmare I'd rather drive or not go than get on a plane.
ReplyDeleteI can't even really read on a plane anymore... seems like the seats have gotten smaller...
DeleteSounds like you have been busy, time for a rest I hope x
ReplyDeleteindeed!
DeleteTime for R & R. Sometimes you have to stop & just "be".
ReplyDeleteI'm not really sure how to just 'be'
DeleteMAKE SURE TO TAKE CARE OF YOU BRENDA ;]
ReplyDeleteI'm trying Janice!
DeleteSounds like a perfect time to kick off your shoes and just take some R and R!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like heaven
DeleteNo more baby photos? It's ok- I love you for yourself.
ReplyDeleteLOL Jo... the baby is coming today and you can bet there will be more pics posted!
DeleteSorry you have been too busy! Hope you can find some time to rest! (:>)
ReplyDeleteHappy Saturday!
Linda
Thanks Linda... although I've been busy... I'm happy and that is great!
DeleteNice six words, long time no see, glad that your long week is over. : )
ReplyDeleteHey you! glad to see you as well... how is all with you?
