WOW! What a great subject....especially for this weekend...
I am joining Ramona at Create With Joy for Friendship Friday - her weekly hop where she poses a subject and we get to meet new friends along the way... (You really need to go check this out!)

My baby girl is home!
For those of you who follow me you know that my daughter and her husband moved to Germany where he is stationed in the army.... I have not seen her since October and she is home for 10 days! They are here for his leave before he deploys - he will be going to Afghanistan in June :( ..... BUT she will be coming back home then as well....
In the meantime this weekend (and we had no idea it was a Holiday weekend when they planned it) will be spent with family and friends. My middle son is coming home tomorrow and will be spending the weekend with us.
AND... I am getting a new 'child' - Michelle's dog Trixy will be moving in with me... It seemed easier for the two of them to bring her over and leave her here and then when Michelle comes back alone Trixy is already here....
Make sure to come back by on Monday for Monday's Musings.... I'm sure I'll have pictures up of Trixy (and how she gets along with Muttley).... and of course a picture or two of my beautiful daughter and son in law!
Hope you all have a great weekend as well!
Enjoy your time with your family! Happy Easter to all!

Thanks and thanks!
Deletehow wonderful for you to have them here for the holiday weekend! what a great easter gift - better than chocolate!
ReplyDeleteenjoy your time, and will back to see pics on Monday.
Much less fattening than chocolate....except if Michelle has her way we are probably going to see a lot of fast food and restaurants.... so maybe it is more fattening than chocolate!
DeleteI am so happy for you. This is going to be a wonderful week for you and I look forward to your pictures of family and furry friend. I owe you an apology. I was unable to attend your party on the 30th. I had a patient that day that had some difficulty with her infusion. I didn't get home until after eight and was drained, needless to say. I hope the party went well ... I know it didn't depend on me to be there, but I feel badly that I wasn't. Be well and enjoy your wonderful family.

Andrea.... no apology necessary... the party is April 30th --- you haven't missed it yet... but I do hope your patient is alright!
DeleteHave a great time with you kids!
ReplyDeleteThanks!!!
DeleteWhat a wonderful convergence of love, and on a holiday, too! I am not ready even to THINK about my kids living far away.
ReplyDeleteLOL.... I don't think I ever thought about it either... it just sort of snuck up on me!
