  1. I missed 2 days of work this week because of a stupid head cold! All I wanted to do was sleep - finally feeling a little better today.

    1. Thanks Denise.... it's funny... I told my doctor that it would happen and he said ..."It shouldn't it's a dead virus!"

  8. Hi Brnda ~~ My advice to you is to get well fast. Mrs. Jim has had the ___________ (something???) for more than two weeks now. She and I had our flu shots last fall.
I just got interrupted for about two minutes by two ads trying to load up down at the bottom. This display was frozen. One was a CarFax ad and for sure I wouldn't be looking at it or the other. At one time I had all the ads killed but that didn't last too long. Google got upset about it.

I think she might be getting pneumonia because she hasn't had her shot for that. I've had two already, ten years apart. If you don't die from it, pneumonia is curable, the common cold isn't.

  9. On the other hand, Barbara, think how much worse you might have been without the shot! I hope you're feeling a bit better by now.

  10. Not good - but definitely my reason for not getting a shot because I've heard this happens. Hope you're feeling better real soon

  13. Oh no....sorry to hear that. I never get the flu shot for fear of that. I had a mirgraine this week, which isn't much better. Same cure too: lots of fluid and rest.
    Feel better soon!

  14. Oh no! I can't get the flu shot (long boring blah blah story) but my husband always gets one so he doesn't bring home the flu to me. And I'm always afraid he'll get sick afterwards but this year, no problems. I hope you feel better quickly!

    Thanks for playing 6WS!

  15. Oh that sucks! My doctor's always look at me sideways when I refuse the flu shot. Every time I've gotten I've had the flu. I've been doing great taking my chances. Same thing happened with the pneumonia shot. I took the shot, later in the year had pneumonia three times. I told them what they could do with both those shots this year.

Brenda try and get you some rest and some good food. Drink plenty of liquids and please try to get some rest. Put superwoman in her phone booth for a few days.
