Today is Saturday and I am up bright and early --- even though the sun is not out.... and I am going downtown to feed the homeless. So although I grumble about my personal and business issues... I am thankful that I have a roof over my head and the capacity to put food on my table. But more than that I am thankful that I have the will and desire to get up every Saturday and go help these people...because it means so much to me!

It's easier to pull yourself out of bed when something worthwhile awaits you. But those lazy Saturdays under the covers are so tempting!

ReplyDeleteI am sure the homeless are always appreciative to get a meal; I'm sure on a rainy day they are very appreciative to get a meal. Your and the organization's efforts are to be commended!
