Sharing a Treasure

To continue with Leah's Giving Thanks Challenge I found something I would like to share:

I spent quite a while hopping around looking at other blogs this morning from the Wordless Wednesday blog hop. By the time I added my link I was #196 and at the time I'm writing this post it is already up to 223. I don't know who owns this hop and I don't know who manages it. I do know that it gets entries from all over the world. BUT this morning I found something that was not wordless and I really wanted to share it. And this is going to be what I am entering as my 'thankful for' today:

Angel In Fatigues

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

  1. Cool! I'm a HUGE supporter of our military. My dad is an old Navy guy and I have a lot of cousins who currently serve and I am proud of each and every one of them!

  2. Brenda, you may have seen the blog post just prior to "Angel in Fatigues". A dear friend of mine, Edie Melson, recently published her book on finding freedom from fear when loved ones are deployed (from personal experience). I would like to purchase a copy for your daughter if you think it's something she would be interested in. If so, please email me at tea4thee@charter.net with her address in Germany. God bless!

  4. what a wonderful story she shared. I have been known to buy the car behind me donuts/coffee when going through the drive thur -- but that soldier REALLY knows how to bless someone. God Bless and go with him!

  5. That was great to read! I've picked up tabs for friends that were at the same restaurant with us (but not dining with us, just saw them when we were leaving, that type of thing) but never for complete strangers. Will have to try that sometime! I know what I started and have continued is anyone that comes to the door selling something, I usually don't buy it, but I offer them a bottle of water before they leave. It is amazing how many are blown away by that simple gesture.

    thanks for sharing that link!
