Ha ha ha.....I realize that just by the title itself this is going to be a very interesting blog post. First of all how many people will even get past the first line of this post to read the meat of it? I don't think I've ever had more than three comments on any of my posts to date...so this is really more of a writing exercise than a connection with any particular group of readers. Unless of course one day I make history and people decide to come back and read all of my earlier rants to see how absolutely brilliant I have always been.
Hey Ruthi - - won't that be a hoot?
Okay back to the subject of the title - - I truly, affirmatively, from the bottom of my heart and soul believe that no one --- and I mean NO ONE can ever know what kind of a bond a mother has with a child.... and furthermore each and every child has a different bond with their mother and vice versa. To even go further in this analysis - - no TWO people have the same relationship as any other two people. What I mean by this is that Joe and Beth might have a wonderful relationship, and Joe and Jane could also have a wonderful relationship, but it is not the same relationship -- the same is true of Mom and Bob, and Mom and Bill - - no way the same relationship. That being said, parenting is NEVER the same!
I will repeat in color this time :::: Parenting each child is not the same! So why do they constantly compare things to each other? I am so tired of "It's not fair....he didn't have to do this, or she got that." I feel like saying, "I quit!"
I mean seriously..... let's get a grip here....who said being a mother meant you had to be fair? I don't remember reading that in the how to be mother handbook - - - Oh wait.... I don't remember reading that book . . .did you?
