How many times have you heard this or said this? Too many? Life is one big circle we give what we get and we get what we give. Wow wouldn't that be nice if it was true? But it really doesn't work out that way. The truth is that we do what we feel is right at the moment. If someone wants to be a jerk, they are going to be a jerk. It has no bearing on what they think is going to happen to them today, tomorrow or next week.
How many times have you been driving and you've put on your signal to change lanes and there is this person who absolutely will NOT let you in? Or is that you?
I remember when I was in driver's training (a million years ago!) and our teacher said, "It will never hurt you to let someone in front of you, and for all you know you might just set off a chain reaction." I never forgot what he said, and to this day I let anyone in that has their signal on. It's the little things that add up. It's not the big things we do that count. It's the little ones.
